Rick Palmer (Chairman)

Rick joined the Board in 1992 and was Deputy Chairperson for six years. Rick is a Financial Planner and has been associated with the industry since 1978. Married, with two adult daughters, he has been an active member of Rockingham Community. He was President of the City of Rockingham Chamber of Commerce and more recently, was appointed to the Rockingham Regional Parks Committee. Rick is a keen sailor who enjoys any sport associated with the magnificent waters off the Rockingham Coast.

Justin Smith ( Vice Chairman)

Justin has been with the Board since September 2005 and is the Principal/Licensee of The Mortgage Gallery Rockingham, a local business providing housing, personal, business/commercial finance, with access to over 30 different lenders and our service is totally free. Justin is the President of the South Coast Regional Chambers of Commerce and has been a member of the Chamber since 2003 as a Key Corporate member.

Janis Rowell

Janis is the Advertising Manager of the Sound Telegraph local newspaper, which covers the Rockingham and Kwinana areas. She has been employed by South West Printing and Publishing which is a subsidiary of the West Australian Newspaper Group for over six years.
As a new committee member Janis hopes to be able to implement some of her experience in the advertising field to help promote the benefits of The Small Business Centre – South West Metro and its Tennants to their best advantage.

Steve Crotty

Married with no children, have lived in Wellard for 6 yrs. Spent 28 yrs with BankWest in various managerial positions relating to lending, administration and IT projects. 2 yrs with Bendigo Bank before resigning to manage local community bank. Have coached a junior Rockingham Flames team in the State Basketball League for 4 yrs.

Kevin Dorotich

Kevin joined the Board in 2003 and is the City of Rockingham's Economic Development Officer. In his position of EDO, Kevin assists with attracting economic development and business opportunities to the City.
